Simple Budget is built to work fully offline. This policy explains, plainly, what that means for your data.
Nothing. Simple Budget does not have user accounts, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track your usage. We have no server, so there is nothing for your budgets, transactions, or forecasts to sync to. All of it stays in a local database on your device.
If you use the CSV export feature, the file is created on your device and handed to your operating system's share sheet. You choose where it goes; we never receive a copy.
Any reminders you enable are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to us or anyone else.
On Android, Pro is unlocked through Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled entirely by Google under Google Play's privacy policy; we never receive your payment information.
Simple Budget is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
If anything here changes (for example, if a future update adds an optional cloud sync feature), this page will be updated before that change ships, with a new "last updated" date above.
